This past February, past CSU/FRCC Rotaract President Linsey Atchison traveled to India to study and participate in their National Immunization Day.  This Wednesday, May 27, Linsey will share her excellent adventure with us, as she did to a standing ovation at the recent District Spring Assembly in Cheyenne.  You don’t want to miss this presentation!  Linsey will be introduced by Stacy Plemmons.

As part of her final Masters project, Linsey studied how India developed and implemented their successful immunization campaign. While there, she also visited many Rotary funded programs in Bangalore and Shimoga, and had the pleasure of staying with various Indian Rotarians, rewarding her with an amazing, life-changing experience that she says “turned her into a life-long Rotarian”.

Linsey received her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology, from CSU’s Colorado School of Public Health this spring. Besides serving as Rotaract president, Linsey works as a medical assistant at the Fort Collins Skin Clinic. This August she will be attending medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, with special interests in Internal Medicine and Oncology. In her very small amount of free time, she enjoys traveling as well as hiking and camping in the mountains with her boyfriend and two dogs, Rascal and Harley.  In case it’s not clear, Linsey also loves elephants!
