Rotary’s “Service Above Self” award presented to Stryker by Rotarian and community leader Bob Everett, during Rotary’s Service in Action luncheon.
Fort Collins, CO, April 15, 2015– The Rotary Club of Fort Collins, founded in 1918, today recognized philanthropist, community activist and Bohemian Foundation founder Pat Stryker with their “Service Above Self” award. The honor was presented to Stryker by last year’s honoree, Rotarian Bob Everett, at their annual “Service in Action” luncheon this week. Rotary Club of Fort Collins Seeking 2015 Grant Applications
The Rotary Club of Fort Collins plans to award financial Grants to deserving Youth Program 501(c)(3) non-profit service organizations located in the Fort Collins area. The Rotary Club Fort Collins awards financial Community Grants quarterly in specific Grant categories each quarter. The Rotary Club of Fort Collins awarded Community Grants today to two non-profit service organizations located in the Fort Collins area.
The Veteran’s Plaza of Northern Colorado was awarded $1,400 to fund the modifications needed for a display monitor housing in order to install a new monitor that displays the historical veteran information at the Veterans Plaza. The old monitors were damaged during the Hyde Park fire and this grant allows the organization to begin their restoration effort to install monitors that will be better suited for the external environment...

CSU, Rotary and the Poudre School District partner bringing STEM to Fourth Grade Students
A collaborative effort between two Fort Collins Rotary Clubs, Colorado State University, and Poudre School District is entering its third year of providing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education at the elementary and middle school levels.
Local Rotary clubs have been providing 3-D printers to the PSD middle schools for student art and engineering projects. Now, a new training program is in place for fourth-grade teachers thanks to CSU’s Little Shop of Physics and the Fort Collins and Breakfast Club rotaries...
