Dennis Kaan introduced Col. Gregory “Bo” Marzolf to introduce the Cadet of the Month for September. He said that it is a pleasure to be here again and appreciates our support. Col. Marzolf said that Cadet Luella Wymer is definitely a future leader. She is a Mechanical Engineering major and a leader in the Wing Walker drill team and has the extremely strong temperament to be a fighter pilot that he described by telling us about one of her unique traits...

Cadet Wymer first told us how grateful she was for the award. When told of the award she did some research about Rotary and said that what she found “resonated with me”. She grew up with many different family members in many different places, but calls Alaska home and said that she is from Guam. Luella said that she is proud of where she has come from and thankful that she was able to move so much and meet many different people early in live. It made her certain about her career path.

It is Cadet Wymer’s dream to be a pilot in the Air Force. Along with flying, she desires to make a difference in our world and to do something remarkable.
