  • District Assembly in Cheyenne, April 23, 9:00 to 3:00.  Everyone invited; Committee chairs and board members strongly encouraged
  • District Conference in Jackson Hole Wyo, May 19-21.  Everyone encouraged.
  • Rotary History Fellowship will meet in the hall immediately after the regular meeting this Wednesday.  Our topic will be 'Trump, Cruz and the Possible Dissolution of the Republican Party.' Everyone is welcome and this good group does not violate the 4 Way Test discussing such topics.

Last Week's Program
Noting that we live in a very special place, Rotarian Jud Harper welcomed and introduced Maggie Dennis, creator of Fort Collins's participation in the Smithsonian Museum's National Pieces of Innovation Exhibit. Maggie then began by stating that FTC was featured because it is a innovative hot-spot, as are the other entries, Hartford Connecticut, Washington DC, Twin Cities Michigan, Silicon Valley CA, and Hollywood CA.

Classification Talk
After more than a decade serving with the American Red Cross, the last 8 years as Executive Director here in Northern Colorado, I am now pursuing another passion that is dear to my heart; caring for elders and persons affected by disabilities.
My passion for caring for those in need started when I was a senior in high school. I took a job as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the local nursing home in my Home Town of Hood River Oregon.

Cadet of the Month - Cadet Bryce Strohecker
Bob Simmons, newest member of the Cadet of the Month Committee, introduced Captain William Reilly to introduce the Cadet of the Month. Bob said that Captain Reilly is an Assistant Professor of Military Science at CSU Army ROTC and also is responsible for Anti Terriorism, Force Protection and Physical Security within the unit. He is originally from Rhode Island and has a BS in Criminal Justice, an MS in Forensic Science and is working on a PhD in Forensic Psychology. He started in the army as an enlisted member (9yrs.) then the last 7 years as an officer. He was deployed to Afghanistan twice.
