Children’s Garden at Spring Creek

As part of the celebrations of Rotary’s 100th anniversary in 2005, the Rotary Clubs of Ft. Collins joined forces with City of Ft. Collins and other partnerships to help build the Children’s Garden at Spring Creek.  The total cost was approximately $525,000 and $100,000 of this was raised by the four Rotary Clubs in town.

The Garden, located at 2145 Center Avenue, southwest of the Prospect Road Hilton, is not a garden in the strict sense but rather an integrated combination of several small-scale theme gardens.  There are garden-like elements for experimental play, gardens planted and maintained by children, a small amphitheater for presentations and interactive educational exhibits all tied together by inter-connecting paths.

The Rotary Club of Ft. Collins maintains its involvement in the Children’s Garden at Spring Creek by funding transportation and registration costs for school children to participate in hands-on interactive programs at the Garden.
