Community RecognitionThe Rotary Club of Fort Collins recognizes and appreciates the tremendous talent that exists in our community. As a club, we strive to recognize these outstanding individuals for their commitment and dedication to excellence and for the service they give to their community. In this section of our web site, you can read about the Teacher of the Month and the Teacher of the Year - a program that recognizes the outstanding educators in our community. We also recognize an outstanding high school student each month with our Student of the Month program. We feature the very deserving students who have been awarded Rotary Scholarships for post-secondary education. In addition, we regularly invite outstanding Colorado State University Athletes and coaches to share their successes with club members. Each month, we have the distinct pleasure of recognizing an outstanding ROTC Cadet with our ROTC Cadet of the Month program. Finally, the Rotary Club of Fort Collins maintains a long-standing tradition of honoring individuals who have distinguished themselves in Agriculture. To that end, each year, we recognize a distinguished member of the agricultural community with the Master Agriculturist Award and also a award a Service to Agriculture Award to an individual or company not directly involved in agricultural production, who nevertheless contributes to the betterment of the rural community.
