Membership – Steve Laine
Purpose
- To develop, with the club board of directors, a membership strategy and a plan to implement the strategy.
- To carry out plans to recruit, orient, induct, and retain members.
- To educate prospective members on the rights and responsibilities of Rotary.
- To give prospective members complete and accurate information about Rotary costs, requirements and expectations.
- To develop activities and methods for assimilating new members into active participation and fellowship within the club.
Guidelines
- Hold new member orientation sessions, "Firesides", at least once every quarter.
- Provide new members with committee listings.
- Provide a checklist to Sponsor outlining procedure, timing and their continued responsibility to transition new member into club.
- "Blue badge" responsibilities should be clearly spelled out.
- Carry out activities that help new members become active participants in the club.

Fellowship Committee – Judy Boggs and Sue Wagner
Purpose
- To promote the Club's sense of community by doing thoughtful acts for members and families that console, comfort, and encourage them during times of trauma and distress;
- To promote Club fellowship by planning and coordinating social activities for Rotarians and their family members;.
- To enhance Club fellowship by arranging various recreational activities.
Guidelines
- Care should be exercised so that illness/death of a Rotarian or a close family member is acknowledged by the Club within a week of the announcement of the circumstances at a Club meeting.
- Condolences to family as soon as possible.
