Apr 23 - PPres Gene Markley (c) receives a "Lifetime of Service" award from Pres Chuck Rutenberg as DG Nancy Pettus observes. Gene joined the Club March 1, 1949 and served as the Club's President in 1955-56. That's 59 years of Service. Congratulations, Gene!

Bill received the Four Avenues of Service Award with special recognition of his (and wife, Gentry's) work in the Youth Exchange program. Bill served as the Club's President in 1990-91. Claude has been active in my Club activities, but his work with the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever program and the Club's were especially noted Congratulations, Claude!
Service Above Self Awardee, Jack Lundt, could not be present, because one of his "Knowledge Teams" was out of town competing. He will receive his award at the April 30th meeting. Claude Piché presented a Power Point show of Jack's accomplishments. I have summarized the National Science Competitions in the table to the right. Immediately, below is the record of the teams that Jack Lundt has coached. I plan to scan a print to give a larger, clearer image to replace the one below. Check for graph abbreviations in the table at the right.
