Mar 5 - Alan Ashbaugh (r) as part of the Foundation minute described the trip that he and Betty Brown (l) took to Torreon, Mexico to seek and evaluate possible projects in which our Club might participate. He and Betty demonstrated how the Mexican Rotarians greeted each other

Mar 5 - Pres Chuck Rutenberg opens the meeting	Mar 5 - Linda Hopkins, one of the first women inducted into our Club, shows her appreciation for being recognize and for the flowers. Unfortunately, she was not able to continue her membership	Mar 5 - PPres and PDG Lynne Baker gave the inspirational comments by citing the negative attitude and comments of many male members of District Club, when she serves as the first woman District Governor in 5440 in 2001-02

Mar 5 - Steve Laine encouraged members to bring prospective members to next week's meeting program by the Membership Committee	Mar 5 - Amelia Streigel announced the "Black Tie Bingo" fund raising event for the After Work Club and mentioned the promotional card on each table. The event is on March 8th	Mar 5 - Nigel Dower of the Aberdeen, Scotland Rotary Club, invited members to a public lecture that he is giving next week
Mar 5 - PPres Judy Boggs encourages members to participate in the Club's social dinners on March 14th and 28th	Mar 5 - Foundation Committee Chair, Melanie Chamberlain, told members that the Club has some "credits", which it plans to use to assist new members become sustaining member. They will receive 250 points, which I think means dollars	Mar 5 - PPres Susie Ewing introduced speaker and one the club's first women members, Linda Hopkins
