The “Martinez Farm” is a special place that offers hands-on connections to our agricultural heritage. The RCFC has a long and rich history with the development of the Farm. RCFC members Art Wilcox and Charlie Peterson were instrumental in developing the “Farm Heritage Museum and Art's Tool Shed” at the Farm. Further, we have used the Farm to illustrate the Rural – Urban connection and interdependence, and the Club has arranged to display farm equipment used in farming in Larimer County. The City purchased the Farm in 1985 and sponsored several developments in the evolution of the Farm. Special speaker will be Emily Land, Director, Philanthropy & Strategic Partnerships, City of Fort Collins, who will share the City’s long-term development plans for the Farm.	View
