Wednesday, November 16th at our Evening Meeting at SweetWater Brewery, Rotary members Andrew Stewart and Robin Steele will highlight the international project supported by the RI Foundation this year.  For those of us who are contributors to the Foundation, this will be a chance to see how are funds are being leveraged and applied.  For those of us considering support to the Foundation for the first time, this ought to get us motivated!

To quote Paul Harris, Rotary founder, “Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”  Our members now span the globe, working to solve some of our world’s most challenging problems.

Rotarians are not afraid to dream big and set bold goals. We began our fight against polio in 1979 with a project to immunize 6 million children in the Philippines. Today, polio remains endemic in only two countries — down from 125 in 1988.  With every project, we’re changing the world for the better.
