Bob Simmons, newest member of the Cadet of the Month Committee, introduced Captain William Reilly to introduce the Cadet of the Month. Bob said that Captain Reilly is an Assistant Professor of Military Science at CSU Army ROTC and also is responsible for Anti Terriorism, Force Protection and Physical Security within the unit. He is originally from Rhode Island and has a BS in Criminal Justice, an MS in Forensic Science and is working on a PhD in Forensic Psychology. He started in the army as an enlisted member (9yrs.) then the last 7 years as an officer. He was deployed to Afghanistan twice.

Captain Reilly then introduced the Cadet of the Month, Cadet Bryce Strohecker, as a Sophomore in the unit. He said that the reasons that he picked Bryce was because of the significant improvement in his personal responsibilities and also in his academics. In one semester, Bryce raised his GPA by .65. These improvements have been enough to earn Bryce a scholarship.

Bryce first thanked our club for the honor and Captain Reilly for selecting him for the award. He then said that he was from Loveland, is majoring in Political Science and next wants to attend Law School at Florida State University. He would like to start in the Army as an Ordinance Officer and later join JAG, the Judge Advocates General's office.
