Trudy was born and raised in Michigan. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Wayne State University. She later received her Doctorate from the University of Denver. Professionally Trudy has taught and worked in Michigan, Florida and Colorado. She has taught/worked with students from first grade to doctoral candidates.
She continued her teaching/counseling/psychology/administrator career as a Professor and doctoral student advisor at the University of Northern Colorado. After retirement Trudy began her art career and now shows in multiple galleries with oil and watercolor as her mediums and landscapes, still lifes and travel scenes as her subjects. Trudy wants to be a Rotarian because she wants to give back to the community more and agrees with what Rotary stands for. She envisions applying the Four-Way Test in her interactions with other.
