John Roberts
On Saturday May 6th, our club lost a close friend and wonderful Rotarian.  John Roberts passed after a very short battle with pancreatic cancer.  John was a life-long community member.  He was president of our club in 2005-2006 and was named Rotarian of the Year in 2012.  John's accomplishments are long and impressive.  He was a member of the Peace Corps and was instrumental in the early concept of the Peace Corp Tribute Garden at CSU.  He served on the Board of the Fort Collins Symphony and the Community Foundation.  John was also a founding member and director of the Global Village Museum.

A memorial service will be held at S. Paul's Episcopal Church/Trinity Lutheran Church at 301 E. Stuart on Tuesday, May 23rd at 3:00pm.  A celebration will immediately follow at Windsong Estate, 2901 Saddler Blvd. in Severance located at Highway 14 and Highway 257.  Please wear your Rotary pin in honor of John.
