This week, fellow Rotarian Randy Kurtz will share his observations and experiences from 50 years of interactions with Rotary Exchange Students. His parents hosted Exchange Students when he was a child and that led to his experience as a Rotary Exchange student himself more than 40 years ago. His wife, Nancy, and he have hosted several exchange students here in Fort Collins. As a result, Randy can recall many funny stories, life long relationships created, and great experiences shared by his family and exchange students. Randy, a Rotarian since 2008, is a University of Colorado graduate, and is now a Strategic Account Manager for the Institute of Account Managers. Father of 3, all of whom are now adults, Randy is a passionate hiker, backpacker and golfer. He is also a great spokesperson for the Exchange Program, a traditional favorite of our club. Randy also volunteers many hours each year coordinating the RCFC Merit Badge University program for the Boy Scouts of America. |
