The State recently implemented a 5.25% cap on property tax growth. This is causing budget constraints for the our local Poudre Fire Authority. The PFA Board is considering a ballot measure for November that would ask voters to waive the 5.25% cap. They are soliciting feedback from our community.
Patti Forsythe serves as the Finance Division Director for the Poudre Fire Authority (PFA), bringing more than 23 years of dedicated public service. She has spent 18 of those years working within a variety of fire service organizations including fire protection special districts, county fire, city fire, and the Poudre Fire Authority, providing expertise in governance, finance, and organizational stewardship. Patti has been part of the PFA team for the past seven years, where she is known for her strategic financial leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to transparent, community focused budgeting. Her work supports PFA’s mission by ensuring strong fiscal foundations that enable highquality emergency services for the community. Patti has been married to her husband, Brent, for 26 years, and together they have five children and three grandsons.
