Join us Wednesday, April 19th, at Sweetwater Brewery where we will be Highlighting Respite Care, a local non-profit that sets the Gold Standard nationally for assisting families raising children with developmental issue.  We will be joined by Kristi Briles, the new ED for Respite. Kristi has been a Loveland resident for the past 23 years. She was born and raised in Hoisington, KS and attended Kansas State University.
She has 3 adult children, Adam, Emma, and Erik. Kristi taught special education in Thompson School District (TSD), obtained her Masters in Educational Leadership, including a principal licensure and a Director of Special Education license, and then was a special education administrator in TSD for 5 years.

In her spare time Kristi is an adjunct professor at UNC, loves to cook, garden, spend time with her family and friends, golf, and any other activity that is outdoors.  She is excited about her new journey as the Executive Director and will briefly highlight Respite and its historical impact on the community and what’s next for their impact on the community.
